Before your session

Let’s talk over the phone so I can find out a bit more about your family and what you are hoping to get out of your photography experience.  I will provide options for locations and advice around styling for your session. It also provides you with an opportunity to ask any questions you have and make sure that I am a good fit for your family.

Where does the session take place?

Sessions usually take place on location in the local area in the hour or so before sunset. Take your pick- beach, forest, mountain, meadow! I think you will agree we are pretty spoilt round here!

I understand that the hour before sunset can be tricky for little people as it’s pretty late in the summer but your images really will benefit from the gorgeous light we get at that time of the day. If late evenings are too tricky spring and fall provide the perfect opportunity for an earlier session time. If you are limited on the timing of the session we can make it work. Lets talk and we could consider a studio or in home session.

How long will the session take

Family session usually last between 1- 1 1/2hrs. They have a bit of a faster pace than some of my other session but that is because little people tend to have pretty short attention span so we keep things moving to keep it interesting.

What style photos will you take?

I offer a mixture between more lifestyle unposed images where we capture the moment and connection between you as a family together with some more formally posed images.
