Cake smash sessions are becoming an increasingly popular way to mark children’s first birthday!

Before your session

I offer a free no-obligation consultation in my studio or over the phone. This is an opportunity for me to find out a bit more about your child and discuss with you ideas for the colour and themes for your cake smash session.

When to book

Most clients like to book their cake smash sessions around when their child is 11 months. This ensures that you have the final images by the time your little one turns one. This is just a recommendation but you can book then session whenever suits you, some people have opted to book the cake smash on the day of their child’s birthday.

The Cake

The cake is included within your session fee. If cake isn’t your thing there are other options such as using donuts, fruit or you could have a paint smash instead.

The Set
This is why I love cake smash sessions. Following your consultation I will come up with a custom set for your cake smash. This can be simple and classic or something a bit more elaborate!

Bubble bath session
As you can imagine cake smash sessions can get a little bit messy. I have included a complimentary bubble bath session so we can get your little one cleaned up and get some extra cute photos of you little one in a tub  with lots of bubbles.

Receiving your images

Within 2 weeks of your session date I will send you an online gallery. You can then select your favorite images.

I am affiliated with a number of professional printing services so I am able to offer high quality products such as wall art, albums or prints. Please ask me for more details if this is something you are interested in.
